Applied Materials, Inc. seeks a New College Graduate to join our engineering and supply chain activities in Kulim, Malaysia. You will support NPI and supplier collaboration to ensure manufacturability and robust engineering drawings, and help optimize processes for cost, quality, and reliability.

Your role emphasizes working with cross-functional teams, participating in supplier selection, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives while embracing travel up to 50% as needed.

• General knowledge of business developed through education or past experience.

Responsabilidades

• Work with New Product Development (NPI) teams to ensure integrity and clarity of engineering drawing requirements and effective communication to suppliers.
• Collaborate with New Product Introduction teams to involve suppliers in development and review of specs for manufacturability.
• Apply project management and quality tools to investigate alternatives for cost, quality and reliability improvements.
• Participate in Supplier Selection to build a base delivering quality, cost, delivery and technology advantages.
• Assist with quality problem resolutions and incident management.
