Keywords Studios is seeking a skilled Concept Artist to define the visual identity of a new stylised game project. You will create concept art across characters, vehicles, environments and props, collaborating with the Art Director to translate direction into production-ready designs.

Candidates should have a strong portfolio in stylised design, solid drawing and digital painting skills, and experience moving concepts from ideation to production. This is a fixed-term contract with remote work.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Concept Artist within games or a closely related entertainment field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating stylised concept characters, vehicles and environments to a high standard.
• Strong drawing and digital painting skills, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and efficiently.
• Ability to move comfortably between early ideation and more polished, production-ready concepts.
• Strong understanding of form, perspective, anatomy, proportion, lighting, and colour theory.
• Experience working on a shipped game project is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Creates high-quality concept art for characters, vehicles, environments, props, and other key visual elements of the game.
• Develops designs that support and strengthen the project's stylised visual direction.
• Explores a broad range of ideas through sketches, thumbnails, silhouettes, colour studies, and more developed concepts.
• Works closely with the Art Director to establish and maintain a clear visual language across the project.
• Produces production-ready concepts, including appropriate design callouts, turnarounds, material indications, and supporting references where required.
• Creates paintovers and visual solutions to support 3D artists during production.
• Helps establish strong visual benchmarks and contributes to the overall quality bar of the project.
• Understands how shape language, proportion, colour, value, composition, and visual hierarchy contribute to strong stylised design.
• Collaborates closely with character, environment, vehicle, animation, and other art disciplines to ensure concepts translate effectively into the game.
• Iterates quickly and thoughtfully based on feedback while maintaining the original design intent.
