Job summary

Stellaire International seeks a passionate School Counsellor to support the wellbeing of Primary and Secondary students in Kuala Lumpur. You will provide counselling, early intervention, and wellbeing programmes, collaborating with students, parents, teachers, and leaders to create a safe, inclusive school environment.

• Provide screening, counselling and mental health support to students.
• Serve as a crisis responder within the crisis management team, coordinating timely action.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and lead programmes to educate staff and students about disabilities (ASD, ADHD) and classroom management.
• Prepare and maintain records and reports; document therapy per policies.
• Stay updated on developments by reading literature, attending courses and networking with other agencies.
• Gather information about community mental health resources for therapy.
• Conduct theme-based training and consultation for staff and students.
