We are seeking a compassionate, proactive, and structured Student Welfare Officer to foster a safe, supportive, and harmonious school environment. In this dual-focus role, you will play a pivotal part in safeguarding student well-being through counseling and supportive care, while ensuring campus safety and discipline through fair, consistent, and restorative administrative standards.
Provide initial emotional support, guidance, and active listening to students facing academic, personal, or socio-emotional challenges.
Design and implement student well-being initiatives, mental health awareness programs, and pastoral care activities.
Act as the primary point of contact for student welfare concerns, liaising with parents/guardians to ensure holistic support.
Facilitate peer support groups and conflict mediation sessions to promote positive social interactions.
Maintain confidential, accurate records of student counseling sessions and case management histories in compliance with privacy guidelines.
Oversee daily student discipline, attendance tracking, and compliance with school rules and code of conduct.
Investigate behavioral incidents, document findings objectively, and execute fair restorative or disciplinary actions in line with school policies.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, school management, and parents to address chronic behavioral or attendance issues.
Maintain and update student disciplinary records, logbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counselling, Guidance & Counselling, Human Development, Social Work, Education, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in student affairs, school counseling, youth development, or administrative discipline management within an educational institution.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal empathy combined with professional firmness.
