Job summary

Pagoda Steel Works Sdn Bhd in Sungai Buloh is seeking a Construction Production Manager to oversee daily steel fabrication and site operations. You will supervise manpower, coordinate with Project, Purchasing, and Site teams, and ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality requirements.

The role demands leadership, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure to resolve delays and maintain production progress.

Qualifications

• Experience in steel fabrication, structural steel, or construction industry
• Experience in production planning, fabrication progress, and quality control
• Knowledge of steel materials, fabrication processes, and production workflow
• Able to manage production workers and coordinate with different departments
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
• Good computer skills and reporting ability

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor daily steel fabrication activities and production progress
• Supervise fabrication work to ensure projects are completed on schedule
• Inspect fabrication quality and ensure work meets project specifications and standards
• Monitor and control materials, including usage, availability, and wastage
• Coordinate with Project, Purchasing, and Site teams on production requirements
• Identify and resolve production issues and delays
• Prepare and report production progress to management
