Job summary

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret structural fabrication drawings and connection details.
• Fit and assemble beams, columns, plates, stiffeners, brackets, pipes, and other steel components.
• Check alignment, level, squareness, dimensions, diagonal, and orientation during fit-up.
• Maintain required root gap, bevel alignment, and joint preparation according to drawings/WPS.
• Carry out tack welding where authorized.
• Use clamps, jigs, fixtures, and temporary supports correctly.
• Perform self-inspection before QC inspection.
• Follow QA/QC, HSE, and housekeeping requirements.
