Job summary

OSD Design Group in Petaling Jaya is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to perform analyses and design calculations for bridges and buildings, and to prepare design proposals and technical reports for construction engineering.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, has experience in bridge or building design, strong communication skills, and proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. On-site role with attractive remuneration and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
• Experience in bridge or building design is an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations for bridges and buildings.
• Prepare design proposals and technical reports for construction engineering, engineering assessments, structural inspections, strengthening, and upgrading works.
• Manage projects, including site coordination, resolving technical issues, and monitoring project progress.
• Review and check engineering drawings prepared by draftsmen.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities on project-related matters and regulatory requirements.
