Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation in Malaysia is seeking a Structural Engineer to support Infrastructure Solutions. You will develop structural design packages and provide technical support to project teams and subcontractors.

The role requires 7+ years in steel building construction and 5+ years in design, with English fluency and ability to document designs using Revit or similar tools. You will collaborate across local and regional teams.

The Structural Engineer supports Infrastructure Solutions business and interacts with and supports local & Regional engineering and product teams. This role is also responsible for developing Structual design packages for IS solutions

Responsibilities:

• Produce preliminary structural design packages
• Develop preliminary Issued to Detail design and IFC level design structural design packages
• Sustains engineering of current production designs.
• Review Structural BOQs
• Provide technical support to subcontractors, project managers, QAQC, Safety engineers & Vertiv procurement team

Education

Bachelor’s degree, Civil/ Structural Engineering or related degree

• Around 7 years of experience in steel building construction projects
• Around 5 years of experience in design works

• Fluency in English
