Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Structural Engineer to support Infrastructure Solutions by developing structural design packages for IS projects and collaborating with regional engineering and product teams.

The role requires experience in steel design, proficiency with Revit, strong communication, and the ability to document functional requirements while delivering timely design packages and supporting subcontractors and project teams.

Qualifications

• Around 7 years of experience in steel building construction projects.
• Around 5 years of experience in design works.
• Good understanding about steel design works.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency in writing functional requirements and documenting designs.
• Basic experience with Revit or similar tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary.
• Effective team member, consistent positive attitude, creativity.

Responsibilities

• Produce preliminary structural design packages
• Develop preliminary Issued to Detail design and IFC level design structural design packages
• Sustains engineering of current production designs.
• Review Structural BOQs
• Provide technical support to subcontractors, project managers, QAQC, Safety engineers & Vertiv procurement team
