The GMP Group is seeking an experienced Product Planning professional to align market needs with business goals and guide product development in the automotive sector. The role emphasizes cross-functional coordination to deliver the right products at the right time for maximum impact.

You will lead proposals for vehicles, manage lifecycle specifications, monitor launches, and analyze market feedback to strengthen market positioning.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business, Marketing or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ working experience in automotive industry.
• Highly organized with the ability to deliver priorities within timelines and details.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills; proactive planning and execution.
• Good general business acumen; analytical, logical and innovative.

Responsabilidades

• Propose equipment level, price, volume and positioning for vehicles based on market analysis and prepare proposals for Management approval.
• Manage product lifecycle specifications and accessory planning using PDCA to ensure continuous improvement and market relevance.
• Propose and monitor project timelines, task lists and flag risks for new launches of lifecycle models, special editions and variants including launch schedules.
• Analyze market feedback and competitor data and propose opportunities to strengthen market positioning.
• Coordinate market research activities such as surveys, car clinics, test drives and analyze results.
• Maintain strong coordination with internal/external stakeholders on planning and pricing based on long-range planning and market needs.
• Mentor junior staff and foster team collaboration.
• Carry out any related job functions as required by supervisor or management.
• Experience in CKD and CBU models is required.
