Job summary

Masimo is seeking a Planner to support quarterly, monthly, and daily production planning, ensuring that materials are purchased and delivered on time to meet customer orders. The role focuses on optimizing plans, reducing scrap, and maintaining appropriate inventory levels across manufacturing and distribution.

You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Purchasing, and QA to align demand and capacity, monitor forecast accuracy, and drive improvements in the S&OP process.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in supply chain planning or related field.
• Strong understanding of planning, procurement, manufacturing, inventory, distribution.
• Knowledge of demand forecasting principles and how forecast affects downstream areas.
• Strong quantitative, statistical, and analytical abilities; able to translate problems into equations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; capable of cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Generate production orders for assemblies and sub-assemblies according to the build plan.
• Analyze build plan requirements vs capacity to identify upscaling needs.
• Support forecasting to define the demand plan and load it into planning tools.
• Develop production demand plans for new products while minimizing scrap.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Purchasing, and QA to align demand and capacity.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and drive continuous improvement actions.
• Coordinate with cross-site teams to meet demand and on-time shipping of orders.
• Identify forecast issues and gaps; present findings to the SCM Manager and S&OP team.
• Perform special projects related to supply chain as needed.
