Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

• Advanced PC skills and familiarity with relevant software packages.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and project component purchase prices reflecting inventory value in Standard Costing.
• Assist hiring manager by participating in recruiting and hiring activities.
• Ensure staff training, tools, and resources are provided to execute job functions.
• Optimize overall cost of materials.
• Support and provide inputs to improve SCM initiatives and strategies.
• Improve sourcing options and add strategic suppliers to AML.
• Provide input to determine quoted cost to customers to maximise MPV.
• Continuously optimize MPV and manage expenses with approvals.
• Monitor and feedback on supplier performance on cost, delivery, and quality.
• Manage materials that are business-unit specific and strategic.
• Understand suppliers' capabilities, market trends, and technologies.
• Conduct supplier audits/visits and performance reviews for improvement.
• Develop supply chain strategies aligned to customer needs and business units.
• Work with Analysts to quote and re-quote materials; select suppliers based on total cost.
• Negotiate terms and conditions protecting Jabil and customers' interests.
