Job summary

Lotus's Malaysia is seeking a proactive Procurement Specialist to lead strategic sourcing and category management across indirect spend. You will drive cost efficiencies, supplier innovation, and sustainable value by partnering with stakeholders to shape sourcing strategies.

In a dynamic retail environment, you will manage end-to-end sourcing, negotiations, and contract management, build strong supplier relationships, and deliver value through market analysis and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in procurement, supply chain, business, or related field.
• At least 5 years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management.
• Experience in supplier negotiations, tender management, and contract management.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills; ability to build partnerships.
• Procurement certifications (e.g., CIPS, ISM) are an advantage.
• Experience in retail procurement and GNFR categories is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing, tendering, and supplier selection activities.
• Develop and execute category strategies to drive value and cost optimization.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure service excellence and continuous improvement.
• Lead commercial negotiations and contract management activities.
• Conduct market analysis and identify opportunities to improve competitiveness and efficiency.
• Partner closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver strategic procurement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance, and best practices.
