Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing or related role.
• Proven abilities to analyze various sources of information and familiar with production cost modeling and margin analysis.
• Experience maintaining accuracy of quoting models and information in the operating system to ensure accurate cost and quoting programs.
• Must be detail and able to efficiently organize information.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective multitasking skills and the ability to take on additional responsibilities as required.
• Effective organization and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance, exercising discretion and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Parts sourcing for new bidding projects and sustaining projects on mechanical parts.
• Review, compare and verify quotations from suppliers to achieve competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with SDE to identify suppliers who can provide competitive pricing and meet service levels.
• Identify opportunities and work on cost reductions with suppliers and internal teams.
• Coordinate supplier scorecard activities and participate in business reviews as applicable.
• Ensure contract and agreement compliance and drive PPV and continuous improvements.
• Serve as escalation point for component issues as appropriate.
