EDA Industries is looking for a proactive Purchasing Specialist to enhance our procurement operations in Jasin, Malaysia. This role entails sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, proficient organizational skills, and the ability to maintain strong vendor relationships. The position offers a permanent contract with salary based on experience.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years proven experience as purchasing, business development, or a related role in the semiconductor industry.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Aufgaben

• Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnership.
• Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms.
• Expedite, track, and update purchase orders.
• Source, negotiate, and monitor all materials/commodities, equipment, service, and vendors.
• Liaise with suppliers for scheduling and evaluate supplier delivery performance.
• Manage inventory levels, reduce waste, and oversee the shelf life and lifecycle of materials.
• Support cost reduction programs for new and existing projects.
• Establish and maintain materials planning and control principal management.
• Ensure consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production.
• Coordinate with Sales and Production team on purchases of products.
• Process invoicing, delivery orders, and other shipping docs.
• Collect and analyze purchasing data.
• Estimate costs and compare budget with actual purchases.
• Monitor costs after significant changes in products processes.
• Generate PO for all needed materials and issue approved PO to designated suppliers.
• Gather quotations/price per items/projects and send to Sales personnel.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Management.
