Job summary

FELDA Investment Corporation Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Manager Risk Management to join the team in Kuala Lumpur City Centre. The role involves leading the risk function, identifying and mitigating strategic risks, and ensuring a controlled environment aligned with business objectives.

The successful candidate will develop robust risk frameworks, manage risk registers, and report trends to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional certification in risk management (ERM, CRISC or equivalent).
• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive risk management experience in large or complex organisations.
• Proven ability to develop and implement risk frameworks and policies.
• Strong risk identification, assessment, mitigation and monitoring skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards relevant to the industry.
• Proficiency with risk management tools and software platforms.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with actionable insights.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for stakeholders at all levels.
• Leadership experience and ability to mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain risk management policies and frameworks.
• Identify, analyze, and assess risks impacting objectives and strategy.
• Create and maintain risk registers and heat maps to monitor exposure.
• Design and implement risk controls to reduce risks to acceptable levels.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and compliance reviews across units.
• Provide risk management training and guidance to staff.
• Report risk status and trends to senior management and board.
• Coordinate with audit, compliance, and legal teams on risk initiatives.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update practices accordingly.
• Lead incident response and business continuity planning.
