Job summary

MR DIY Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Retail Project & Inventory Analyst to lead end-to-end retail projects, optimize store allocation, and drive inventory performance. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Buying, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and IT teams to ensure successful project delivery and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail operations, project management, or supply chain.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end retail projects, including requirements gathering and go-live.
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, store allocation, replenishment.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI; familiarity with SQL, Python, ERP, POS, or retail management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end retail projects from planning to post-go-live support.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Identify risks and mitigation plans; track progress and report to management.
• Develop store allocation strategies and optimize inventory distribution.
• Analyze sales and inventory data; create dashboards and KPIs for decision making.
• Collaborate with Buying, Supply Chain, Warehouse, IT, and other teams; manage stakeholder meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement to retail operations and inventory performance.
