Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar field.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience
• Strong proficiency in Python (e.g., pandas, sklearn) and SQL
• Hands-on experience in time series forecasting and predictive modeling
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
• Solid understanding of Machine Learning concepts and techniques
• Proven experience in project management, including planning, execution, and delivery
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate across diverse teams
• Demonstrated critical and creative thinking abilities
• Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to develop practical and innovative solutions

Responsibilities

• Prediction and Forecast Models: Build and maintain forecasting models to support business planning and decision-making.
• Model Evaluation: Evaluate model accuracy using appropriate metrics and continuously improve model performance.
• What-if Simulation: Develop simulation models to evaluate business scenarios; assess the impact of pricing, display and stock changes.
• Allocation Optimization: Design optimization models for inventory allocation across stores; balance stock, demand and capacity.
• Dashboarding and Analytics: Create and maintain analytics that drive business decisions across platforms (e.g., dashboards).
• Data & Collaboration: Ensure reliable data pipelines and translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders; translate requirements clearly.
• Project Management: Manage end-to-end project delivery, including scope, timelines, priorities, and engagement (good to have).
• Decision Making: Propose data-driven ideas to optimize models and initiatives; plan and execute.
• Any Other Tasks as Assigned
