Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Malaysia is seeking a communications leader to develop and implement strategies to strengthen brand positioning in the property consulting industry, and to craft consistent messaging across all channels.

You will manage media relations, create thought leadership content, and lead internal communications and employer branding initiatives, aligning with the brand’s voice and visual identity.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with 5-7 years’ experience in Communications.
• Experience in marketing and communications within real estate preferred.
• Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.
• Creative mindset with a strategic approach to brand positioning.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and MS Office applications.
• Established media contacts with expertise in social/digital marketing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication strategies to strengthen brand positioning across channels.
• Craft and maintain brand messaging to ensure consistency across all communications.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and industry publications.
• Create press releases, case studies, and thought leadership articles on property trends.
• Manage media inquiries, interviews, and speaking opportunities for executives.
• Develop high-quality content, brochures, social posts, and video scripts.
• Design internal comms programs to engage employees and promote brand advocacy.
• Manage digital channels including social, email, and corporate website.
• Plan brand activation campaigns at career fairs and industry events.
• Create crisis communication strategies and monitor brand sentiment.
