Job summary

Barry Callebaut Manufacturing Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Raw Material Planner for a six‑month contract in Pasir Gudang, Johor. You will manage raw material orders, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery for the manufacturing site.

Responsibilities include planning call-offs, monitoring MRP indicators, and conducting regular supplier reviews to prevent shortages and optimize inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in supply planning, material planning or production planning.
• Experience in manufacturing or fast-moving environments is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of supply-chain principles and integrated planning.

Responsibilities

• Place call-off orders for packed and bulk raw materials to support production.
• Use MRP data to prepare raw material call-offs and align with internal stakeholders.
• Monitor requirements and ensure materials meet production schedules.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for stock or supplier issues and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses and regional planners to avoid shortages.
