Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a proactive Raw Material Planner on a fixed-term contract to manage material call-offs, ensure timely deliveries, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams. The role emphasizes MRP-driven planning, inventory control, and continuous improvement within the Supply Chain function.

The candidate will monitor material availability, manage supplier performance, and execute stock-reconciliation activities to support manufacturing schedules. Local travel is not anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in supply planning, material planning, production planning, procurement or related Supply Chain function.
• Experience in a manufacturing or fast-moving operational environment would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of Supply Chain management principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Place call-off orders for packed raw materials from warehouses and bulk raw materials from suppliers to support the production schedule.
• Monitor MRP requirements and ensure materials are available according to the production plan.
• Coordinate internal call-offs and align cocoa-material requirements where applicable.
• Review master data to ensure lead times and planning parameters are accurate.
• Carry out stock reconciliation and investigate stock discrepancies.
• Escalate critical supply risks and material shortages to stakeholders promptly.
