Job summary

MVC Resources in Sungai Buloh, Malaysia is seeking a proactive Procurement professional to manage daily purchasing activities, source components, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries for manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree, 2–4 years of purchasing experience, and strong negotiation and ERP skills, including SAP, with excellent communication to support Production, Warehouse, Planning, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Purchasing, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in sourcing mechanical, electrical, engineering or industrial components is a plus.
• Familiar with supplier management, quotation evaluation, price negotiation, and PO processing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP/ERP systems.
• Strong communication, negotiation, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily purchasing activities including sourcing, supplier selection, quotation comparison, and PO processing.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Monitor POs, delivery schedules, and outstanding orders to avoid shortages.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery conditions to save costs.
• Work with Production, Warehouse, Planning and Finance to ensure smooth procurement operations.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases, and procurement documentation.
