Job summary
Siemens Energy in Malaysia is seeking a Project Procurement Manager to lead the procurement strategy for compression packages within project teams, ensuring timely, within-budget sourcing of quality goods and services. You will drive supply chain excellence from the sales phase onward, optimizing resources while maintaining compliance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years in SCM, procurement, proposal, or PM in Oil & Gas or Power generation.
- Experience with compression and/or gas turbine equipment preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of sourcing, negotiation, and cost modeling.
- Proficient in MS Office and data analytics for project tracking.
Responsibilities
- Identify optimal suppliers and innovative solutions with sales and project teams.
- Define sourcing processes, manage resources, ensure compliance on budget/quality.
- Analyze scope, contracts, and market dynamics to manage project risks.
- Lead supplier negotiations based on Total Cost of Ownership.
- Oversee supplier performance, manage changes, coordinate qualification.
- Provide project reports and share best practices across teams.
