Job summary

Hotayi Electronic (M) Sdn Bhd (Hotayi Group) is seeking a Production Planner to plan and monitor production and material requirements based on customer demand. The role involves coordinating with Production, Warehouse and Purchasing to ensure timely materials and to prevent line stoppages.

You will monitor inventory levels, address shortages, expedite urgent items, and maintain planning records and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in related field.
• Fresh graduates welcome; 1–2 years experience a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor production and material requirements based on customer demand.
• Ensure materials are available on time to prevent production delays.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing and other departments.
• Monitor inventory levels, material shortages and excess stock.
• Follow up on material delivery and expedite urgent items.
• Update planning records and prepare relevant reports.
• Identify planning issues and implement improvement actions.
• Support other tasks assigned by superiors.
