Job summary

IMU Education Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Head of Procurement to lead end-to-end procurement and supply chain across the IMU Group, delivering strategic value, cost optimization and strong governance. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related discipline.
• 15+ years of relevant experience, including ≥5 years in leadership.
• Strong experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, contract negotiation.
• Proficient in drafting RFPs, RFQs, contracts and terms.
• Knowledge of commercial laws, governance and internal controls.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in procurement systems and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute IMU Group's procurement and supply chain strategy.
• Establish category management and sourcing strategies for key spend.
• Lead procurement transformation through standardisation, automation, analytics.
• Develop procurement dashboards and spend intelligence for decision-making.
• Identify cost-optimisation opportunities and supplier consolidation.
• Ensure proper justification, approval and monitoring of purchases.
• Conduct tender evaluations to achieve optimal savings.
• Lead bidding processes for large, recurring purchases.
• Negotiate contracts focusing on quality, price and terms.
• Monitor supplier performance via scorecards and reviews.
