MKS Inc. in Penang is seeking a Buyer to partner with cross-functional teams to ensure a continuous flow of material that meets production needs at the right cost and quality, from the right source. You will report to the Procurement Manager.

Key responsibilities include PO creation, supplier negotiations, and driving improvements in delivery performance while aligning with global category strategies.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or Planning.
• At least 3 years of indirect procurement experience across categories.
• Proficient with ERP/MRP systems and MS Office.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented with analytical problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Willingness to travel to suppliers as needed.

Aufgaben

• Create and manage purchase orders and process optimization.
• Drive negotiations for pricing and payment terms and propose cost-saving initiatives.
• Serve as the focal point for supplier escalations and support monthly business reviews.
• Manage and evaluate supplier performance and support supplier audits.
• Follow up on supplier commitments and ETA updates to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Past Due POs to support continuity.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate routine procurement processes.
• Travel to suppliers and other MKS facilities as needed.
