Job summary

Loyal Group is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager in Kuala Lumpur to lead the Procurement Department and drive sourcing excellence for national infrastructure projects. You will implement governance, negotiate value, and ensure timely delivery within budget and quality standards.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of procurement experience across large-scale projects, with at least 5 years in construction or machinery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (SCM, Logistics, Business Admin, or Engineering).
• Minimum 10 years procurement experience in large-scale projects, at least 5 in construction or machinery.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and manage the department’s operation plan to meet budget and delivery targets.
• Guide project teams in tracking shipments and verifying incoming goods against requirements.
• Lead negotiations to secure best commercial outcomes for the company.
• Drive continual improvement in systems, policies and processes.
• Implement risk controls to minimise exposure and maintain quality standards.
• Build relationships with clients and suppliers to sustain performance.
• Mentor staff in supplier management and strategic thinking.
