Job summary

HP Malaysia is seeking an experienced procurement professional to drive efficient procurement of goods and services for the organization. You will drive supplier development, maximize purchasing leverage and optimize procurement operations across functions.

You will implement process standardization, lead strategic initiatives, negotiate with suppliers, and mentor junior staff while delivering measurable savings and value for the business.

Qualifications

• Four-year or graduate degree in supply chain or related discipline.
• Typically 4–7 years of work experience in procurement or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provides complex-level procurement support using subject matter expertise.
• Leads process standardizations and strategic initiatives.
• Monitors programs, delivery solutions and KPIs.
• Manages deployment of business processes by suppliers and partners.
• Optimizes spend with external suppliers through negotiation and partnerships.
• Collaborates with teams to maintain business objectives and cost management.
• Provides procurement process design and independent strategic support.
• Develops and supervises junior procurement staff and provides training.
