Job summary

JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS is seeking a Procurement Analyst for a 12-month contract in Malaysia. The role focuses on achieving margin targets, managing stakeholders, and maturing procurement categories for future growth.

You will lead local and regional sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost and cash improvements across indirect materials, with emphasis on TCO and supplier performance. The ideal candidate has a solid CAPEX/MRO background and international experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in CAPEX/MRO procurement with track record of cost and cash improvements.
• Leading cross‑functional teams to achieve lowest total cost of ownership.
• International/global company experience preferred, ideally FMCG.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to deliver total cost of ownership savings and drive implementation.
• Manage supplier relationships to improve cost and cash results.
• Measure performance to ensure competitive cost base in the category.
• Drive category innovation to find cost-saving opportunities and new suppliers.
• Develop regional/local sourcing strategies and ensure benefits realization.
• Establish and maintain strategic supplier agreements to manage risk.
