Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and related experience.
• Experience with procurement processes and supplier management.
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP processes and inventory controls.

Responsibilities

• Procures goods and services to support business operations.
• Acts as liaison between internal customers, suppliers and external customers on ramp up and production.
• Reviews requisitions, contacts vendors, examines bids and initiates contracts.
• Purchases parts and supplies for new and existing products and non-production needs.
• Initiates purchases driven through MRP; determines order timing and quantities.
• Coordinates last time buys for end-of-life products and ensures on-time delivery.
