Job summary

Celestica in Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia, seeks a Team Leader 3 for the Buying function. The role supervises a 25–50-person purchasing team at a large site, coordinating procurement activities and developing standards to ensure on-time deliveries and cost savings.

You will mentor staff, manage complex procurement projects, and work within ISO-aligned SCM policies to optimize supplier performance and documentation. Hybrid work arrangement supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field; Educational requirements may vary by geography.
• Four to six years of relevant experience in a procurement/SCM role.
• Broad knowledge of electronics manufacturing environments, procurement processes, inventory and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates buying activities for procurement team.
• Manages team projects and allocates resources.
• Provides direction for procurement documentation and standards.
• Leads development of complex procurement documentation and supplier negotiations.
• Acts as team leader, mentor, and coach within Purchasing.
• Ensures availability of goods and services to meet schedules.
