Job summary

Asia Recruit represents a multinational firm in Malaysia seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage monthly payroll, benefits, and HR data integration. You will ensure accuracy, input bonuses, and keep HRIS records up to date.

Responsibilities include tax filings, year-end processes, and strict adherence to local payroll regulations. You will collaborate with finance and HR to maintain precise financial reporting and promptly address employee inquiries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting, Business Admin, or related field (CGPA 3.0+).
• Minimum 2 years' experience in HR or payroll administration.
• Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS (e.g., HR2000, Workday).
• Knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong attention to detail in data entry and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
• Calculate and enter payroll data including bonuses and allowances.
• Review and reconcile payroll reports for accuracy.
• Administer employee benefits and deductions.
• Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate HRIS data.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
• Prepare and submit payroll tax filings.
• Assist with year-end payroll processes.
• Collaborate with finance to reconcile payroll-related accounts.
• Assist with internal and external audits related to payroll.
• Process new enrollments, changes, and terminations for benefits.
• Liaise with benefits providers to resolve issues in coverage or billing.
