Job summary

Bosch Malaysia is seeking a Material & Production Planning professional in Penang to lead raw material replenishment, maintain MRP integrity, and coordinate production scheduling. You will ensure supplier performance, manage inventory targets, and support NPI/LPR activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires 3–5 years in material/production planning or procurement, strong Mandarin for China-based reporting, and SAP with MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business studies, Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the field of material planning, production planning or procurement (buyer). Experience in order management / demand planning is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office is a must.
• SAP knowledge is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and multi-tasking skill, able to work in fast paced environment.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is essential as Mandarin is the primary language used for daily operations and technical reporting by our counterparts based in China.
• Only Malaysian citizens are eligible to apply for this position.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for raw material replenishment and maintain supply visibility of minimum 3 months.
• Secure delivery confirmation from suppliers for all PO.
• Expedite material deliveries to support production & customer orders.
• Bottleneck & allocation management for materials in critical shortage.
• Drive Purchasing to maintain Purchasing/Vendor master data that is relevant to MRP run.
• Manage material auto replenishment within warehouses via mini macro & min-max setting.
• Track & monitor supplier delivery performance (SSL3) & define improvement measures.
• Rough Production Planning (RPP) for mid to long term up to 24 months and level production loading.
• Convert, release & schedule production orders according to levelling pattern.
• Maintain MM & release pronovia timely & accurately to enable automatic MRP planning.
• Coordinate new material packaging lot size for kanban card preparation before SOP.
• Ad hoc tasks as and when required.
