Job summary

PolicyStreet is seeking a Manager, Corporate Development in Kuala Lumpur to lead end-to-end M&A and strategic investments. You will partner with senior leadership to identify targets, model valuations, prepare investment papers, and manage due diligence across finance, legal, and advisors.

You will guide post-merger integration, track industry trends, and present findings to the board while mentoring junior team members. A strong finance background and TMT experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in M&A advisory, investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or strategy consulting.
• Prior transaction experience in TMT sector is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics; MBA/CFA is an advantage.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience managing due diligence processes and deal negotiations.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for senior leadership.
• Strong project management and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
• Solid grounding in M&A strategy, target search, synergy assessment, and benchmarking.
• Exposure to post-merger integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end M&A transactions including negotiations with lenders and advisors.
• Identify, screen, and evaluate acquisition targets and partnerships aligned with strategy.
• Prepare financial models, investment papers, and board materials.
• Manage due diligence across commercial, financial, and legal workstreams.
• Assess synergies and lead post-merger integration planning.
• Monitor industry trends to surface new opportunities.
• Present analyses and recommendations to senior leadership and board.
• Provide guidance to junior team members on analyses and outputs.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Tax and Operations to ensure compliant deal execution.
