Job summary

Exyte Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Lifting Coordinator for a data center construction project in Cyberjaya. You will plan, coordinate and supervise all lifting activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with Malaysian regulations and project requirements.

You will collaborate with construction, engineering, logistics, HSE, and equipment teams to align lifting with the construction programme and avoid disruption to critical works.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in lifting coordination or heavy lifting projects.
• Experience on data center, industrial, or major construction projects preferred.
• Knowledge of crane operations, rigging and load handling.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all lifting activities across the project.
• Review requirements, equipment size, lifting points, CG and access routes.
• Prepare lifting plans, studies, method statements, risk assessments and procedures.
• Ensure cranes and lifting equipment are available and within capacity.
• Lead pre-lift meetings, verify equipment certification, and ensure competent personnel.
• Maintain lifting registers and document progress.
• Promote safety and stop unsafe operations.
