Job summary

RHB Bank Berhad in Malaysia seeks an experienced Head, Strategic ALM, FTP & NIM to lead the FTP framework, balance sheet strategy and regulatory reporting. You will partner with Treasury, Risk, Technology and business units to drive improvements and ensure robust governance.

The role requires strong ALM/FTP expertise, senior stakeholder engagement and leadership to develop high-performing teams in a dynamic banking environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Asset & Liability Management (ALM), Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), Treasury, Balance Sheet Management or related banking functions.
• Strong understanding of Net Interest Margin (NIM) management, funding strategies, deposit pricing and balance sheet optimisation.
• Proven ability to lead senior stakeholders, management committees and regulators with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Group's FTP framework to support balance sheet management and strategic decision-making.
• Drive strategic analysis and recommendations on FTP, NIM, funding costs and balance sheet optimisation for senior management.
• Develop, govern FTP policies, methodologies and implementation guidelines.
• Provide advisory support on product pricing, funding implications and business initiatives.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual FTP reporting and financial closing processes.
• Monitor FX Net Open Position (NOP) and oversee FX liquidity management and related reporting.
