Job summary

Prudential plc is seeking an experienced IT leader to act as the primary interface for Global Technology Operations, ensuring service levels and governance are met across complex infrastructure initiatives. You will coordinate with business units and vendors, directing resources to deliver end-to-end IT services and improvements.

Required are a degree in IT or engineering, 8–12 years IT experience, strong English communication, and 4+ years in project management with vendor oversight.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Engineering or related field.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• 8–12 years of solid IT experience.
• Minimum 2 years managing 5–10 IT managers/technical resources.
• Experience with insurance systems is advantageous.
• Ability to work under pressure and stay calm.
• Strong customer service orientation and proactive collaboration.
• 4+ years of project management experience.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and deliverables.
• Understand business components and liaison with business staff.

Responsibilities

• Act as a one-stop service point to represent Global Technology Operations on service level and support.
• Understand business system requirements and develop optimal implementation approach to deliver necessary infrastructure.
• Produce monthly service level report and host related governance meetings.
• Manage and resolve IT related issues and change requests.
• Direct Infrastructure Leads and assign resources in delivering end to end services.
• Manage complex relationships and priorities among diverse groups.
• Interact with business unit management to assist outsourced resources to GTO.
• Oversee delivery by third party vendors and ensure alignment with policy.
• Ensure infrastructure scope meets delivery obligations and security standards.
• Track projects to schedule and report progress.
