Job summary

MVC Resources in Malaysia is seeking an experienced procurement lead to drive strategic sourcing for IT hardware, software and services. You will develop global category strategies, conduct spend analysis and manage supplier segmentation across manufacturing and service centers.

You will partner with stakeholders to align sourcing plans, oversee global spending for compliance and cost optimization, and facilitate supplier reviews and scorecards.

Qualifications

• Proven or demonstrated performance developing strategic supplier relationships.
• Proactive problem solver with strong planning orientation.
• Excellent working knowledge of purchasing and electronic manufacturing processes.
• Capability to respond quickly, decisively, assertively and professionally to changing requirements
• Proficient with SAP or Ariba
• Excellent PC skills including Excel, Word, MS Standard Office

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global category strategies and supplier segmentation.
• Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify cost saving opportunities.
• Partner with stakeholders to align sourcing plan.
• Oversee global spending, ensure compliance, cost optimization and supplier performance.
• Facilitate annual business reviews and suppliers’ scorecards.
• Process purchase requisition and PO confirmation where necessary.
• Support / responsible for global AE manufacturing factories, design and global service centers
