Job summary

Talent Recruit represents a leading public-listed manufacturer of wire products and seeks a Business Strategy & Investment Specialist to drive feasibility studies, investment analysis, and strategic recommendations for growth. You will build financial models, evaluate ROI, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with finance, sales and operations.

English and Mandarin communication is required due to the business scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field; Masters preferred.
• At least 5 years in business analysis, financial planning, or strategic investment.
• Strong analytical skills with financial modelling, forecasting, and data interpretation.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin due to business needs.
• Location: KL or Melaka.

Responsibilities

• Assess new product feasibility, financial returns and investment risks.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new product launches, evaluating market demand, competitive landscape, and profitability.
• Develop financial models to assess investment costs, expected revenue, and ROI.
• Analyze sales forecasts, pricing strategies and cost structures to determine the commercial viability of new initiatives.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the Managing Director based on data-driven insights and business objectives.
• Act as a strategic partner to the MD, offering expert advice on business expansion, capital allocation, and risk mitigation.
• Represent the MD in meetings and external engagements when necessary.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and assess business performance to ensure alignment with targets.
• Evaluate potential business partnerships, acquisitions, or investments that align with the company's growth strategy.
• Liaise with finance, sales, and operations teams to gather insights and ensure comprehensive investment analysis. Ensure all investment proposals are backed by rigorous analysis and risk assessments.
