Job summary

Setia Awan Group in Kuala Lumpur seeks a seasoned Investment Analyst to conduct financial feasibility studies and model complex deals for landbank, property developments, and joint ventures.

You will build robust financial models, assess risks, and prepare papers for Director review while coordinating with legal and strategy teams. Strong English skills are essential; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant corporate finance, investment banking or senior finance experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; professional qualification preferred.
• Strong modelling and valuation skills (DCF, IRR, NPV, scenario analysis).
• Excellent English; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough financial analysis and feasibility assessments on investment proposals.
• Build and stress-test detailed financial models (DCF, IRR, NPV, payback, sensitivity).
• Prepare investment papers and financial summaries for the Director’s decision-making.
• Benchmark deal economics against market comparables and investment thresholds.
• Advise on optimal deal structures including equity, payment terms, and exit provisions.
• Coordinate deal strategies with the Special Officer to the Director and cross-functional teams.
• Review transaction documents for financial terms and identify risks and covenants.
• Monitor market conditions and regulatory changes affecting the investment pipeline.
