Job summary

Körber in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead indirect materials & services (IMS) sourcing projects from initiation to completion. You will engage cross-functionally to align scope, SLAs, timelines, and commercial terms, while driving supplier performance and spend optimization.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement with strong analytical skills (Excel/PowerPoint) and hands-on SAP experience, enabling effective governance and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of procurement/sourcing experience with indirect materials & services.
• End-to-end sourcing and supplier/vendor management experience.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint with data interpretation and reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder communication across organizational levels.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned sourcing projects for IMS from initiation to completion.
• Represent procurement in cross-functional meetings to align on scope, SLAs, timelines, and terms.
• Manage supplier performance and coordinate issue resolution with stakeholders and vendors.
• Drive spend analysis, cost savings, and supplier rationalization across indirect spend.
• Enhance transparency and efficiency using procurement tools and systems (K.Procure, SAC).
• Standardize workflows, improve user buying channels, and reduce maverick spend.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, maintain documentation and audit readiness.
