Boost group in Malaysia seeks a Head of Group Procurement to lead the end-to-end procurement strategy across geographies. You will drive cost efficiency, supplier quality, and risk management, partnering with Finance, Operations, and business unit leaders to ensure procurement decisions align with long-term resilience.

The role demands building scalable procurement frameworks, negotiating high-value contracts, and establishing governance across centralized and business-unit functions.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of progressive procurement or supply chain experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing group/enterprise-wide procurement.
• Proven experience negotiating and managing high-value, complex supplier contracts.
• Experience operating across multiple business units, categories, or geographies is strongly preferred.
• Strong strategic sourcing and category management expertise.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of delivering measurable cost savings.
• Strong understanding of supply chain risk management, contract law, and vendor governance.
• Data-driven approach to procurement decision-making, with experience using procurement analytics/e-procurement tools.
• Strong leadership skills with experience building and scaling procurement teams.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute the group-wide procurement strategy across all regions.
• Define procurement policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive process efficiencies.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for major spend categories.
• Build and manage a robust supplier base with quality and competitive pricing.
• Negotiate high-value contracts and long-term supplier agreements.
• Establish supplier performance scorecards and conduct regular reviews.
• Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Partner with Finance to develop budgets, track savings and report KPIs.
• Drive digital transformation of procurement processes, including e-procurement systems.
