Brooks Automation is seeking a Senior Global Commodity Manager – Mechanical based in Malaysia/Southeast Asia. This strategic sourcing leader will develop regional commodity strategies and lead cross-functional teams to strengthen supply, reduce costs, and support manufacturing growth across Malaysia, China, and Southeast Asia.

The role requires advanced supply chain expertise, executive communication, and the ability to navigate supplier relations, with regular travel within the region.

• 5+ years leading strategic sourcing and cross-functional supplier initiatives.
• Experience developing supplier strategies and executive relationships.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Self-directed leader who can prioritize competing business needs.
• Understands materials order management cycle – RFQ through delivery

Aufgaben

• Develops and executes regional commodity strategies across Malaysia/Southeast Asia for metals, sheet metal, coatings, electronics, cables, and gas components.
• Leads negotiations for pricing, terms, contracts, capacity commitments, and supplier agreements.
• Resolves supplier escalations with cross-functional teams to maintain supply and quality.
• Reads and interprets technical drawings and specifications stored in Agile or similar tools.
• Owns end-to-end sourcing from RFQ to PO and delivery, including supplier performance management.
• Engages suppliers across Malaysia, SE Asia, China to secure quality and competitive total cost.
