Job summary

Brooks Automation is seeking a Senior Global Commodity Manager – OEM based in Malaysia/Southeast Asia. You will lead regional commodity strategies for OEM components across wafer handling and semiconductor manufacturing equipment, manage executive-level supplier relationships, and drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements.

The role requires strong negotiation, cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and Operations, and experience in PLM tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in strategic sourcing and supplier initiatives with OEM components
• Experience developing OEM supplier strategies and executive relationships
• Strong ability to translate data into actionable supply decisions and risk management

Responsibilities

• Develops regional commodity strategies for Malaysia/Southeast Asia
• Leads OEM supplier negotiations for pricing, terms, and contracts
• Acts as senior commercial and supply-chain owner for escalations
• Reviews drawings, BOMs, and supplier documentation in PLM tools
• Owns end-to-end sourcing execution from RFQ to supplier performance
• Engages suppliers across Malaysia, SEA, China, and other regions
• Supports Copy Exact, First Article Inspection, and change control requirements
• Drives supplier readiness, cost performance, and lifecycle management
