Job summary

HEPMIL Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to drive analytical rigor and strategic commercial growth.

You will act as a trusted advisor to senior management and non-finance teams, translating financial insights into actionable business decisions to support long-term financial health in a fast-paced media environment. The role covers strategic decision support, commercial FP&A, and robust reporting, compliance, and governance across monthly to year-end cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent.
• ACCA/CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• 7+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS, IFRS, and GAAP.
• Proficiency in Xero and MS Office suite.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
• English fluency; Bahasa Malaysia is advantageous.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Decision Support: partner with senior leadership to deliver financial analysis and shape long-term strategy.
• Commercial FP&A: coordinate budgeting/rolling forecasts, monitor KPIs, and perform variance analysis.
• Reporting, Compliance & Governance: own monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting, ensure data quality and compliance with policies.
