Job summary

J&T Express Malaysia is seeking an experienced finance leader to manage the financial operations of its Malaysian subsidiaries. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and provide forward-looking insights to drive strategic decisions.

Responsibilities include cost analysis, KPI tracking, and internal controls, with a focus on cash flow optimization and compliance with MFRS and tax regulations. Strong leadership and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
• 5+ years of FP&A or management accounting experience; manufacturing/logistics is an advantage.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and cost analysis.
• Solid knowledge of MFRS, tax regulations and compliance.
• Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel.
• Logistics, Freight & Delivery Services background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall financial management of J&T Express Malaysia subsidiaries.
• Supervise daily financial operations including general ledger, month-end closing, and reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and annual operating planning processes.
• Conduct business, cost, profitability, and variance analyses with forward-looking insights.
• Establish and maintain KPI framework to monitor performance and targets.
• Prepare MIS reports and financial analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Evaluate investments, pricing, and proposals for financial feasibility.
• Oversee accounts receivable/payable and inventory to optimize cash flow.
• Lead cost accounting, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with MFRS and tax regulations and guide the finance team.
