Job summary

Kenanga Group in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Fixed Income Analyst to manage fixed income investments within unit trusts and client mandates, aiming to meet objectives and deliver competitive returns. You will develop and implement the firm's fixed income strategy to enhance portfolio performance.

You will interact with clients and internal teams, write reports and prepare presentations, and conduct credit assessments on issuers for inclusion in the Credit Universe, while supporting ESG

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, accounting or statistics.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in local fixed income market, including credit research and macro-based analysis.
• Experience in credit assessment on local credits with consistent monitoring of issuers.
• Experience in giving presentations to clients/stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Fund performance: Manage assigned portfolios in accordance to investment objectives and mandates; conduct fundamental, macroeconomic and market analysis.
• Credit Research: Initiate coverage on new issuers; attend and provide updates for company briefings and site visits.
• Marketing & Presentation: Marketing and presentation to private mandate clients and other investors; participate in internal meetings about ideas/strategies.
• Reporting: Assist in preparing periodic fund reports/portfolio slides; support other projects by CIO/Head of Fixed Income & Credit.
• Sustainability/ESG: Integrate ESG assessment into the credit analysis and investment process.
