Job summary

BASF Asia Pacific is seeking a Financial Reporting professional in Malaysia with at least 3 years of experience to independently deliver reporting services and ensure compliance with BASF policies. You will support analysts, review accounting transactions, and coordinate month-/year-end reporting for the region.

Responsibilities include process improvement, working with cross-functional teams, and maintaining documentation and controls across local statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• University degree in finance and accounting or business studies.
• Chartered or Certified Professional Accountant or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Financial Reporting or related accounting function.

Responsibilities

• Provide Financial Reporting transaction processing support with accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare month-end, quarter-end, year-end and statutory reports for BASF Asia Pacific.
• Troubleshoot issues and liaise with stakeholders on reporting processes.
• Lead or participate in local and regional projects related to Financial Reporting.
