Job summary

HyperStrong International (Malaysia) SDN. BHD is seeking an experienced Financial Business Partner Manager in Penang. You will act as a trusted financial advisor to senior management, turning data into actionable insights and supporting strategic decisions.

You will lead forecasting, budgeting, variance analyses, and financial reporting across business units, while ensuring strong controls and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA highly desirable.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in financial management, business partnering, or financial analysis roles within a corporate environment.
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems and advanced spreadsheet skills (Excel, Power BI or similar analytics tools).
• Excellent understanding of financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex financial information for diverse audiences.
• Experience working in a matrix organisation and managing multiple priorities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial analysis and business partnering support to senior management.
• Develop and deliver financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support business planning and performance management.
• Identify and analyse financial risks and opportunities, presenting recommendations to improve business performance and financial outcomes.
• Prepare and present complex financial reports and dashboards that translate data into meaningful business insights for key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and align financial strategies accordingly.
• Support the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
• Monitor and analyse key financial metrics and KPIs to drive accountability and performance improvement.
• Assist with special projects, including financial modelling, cost-benefit analysis, and ad-hoc financial investigations as required.
• Mentor and support junior finance team members, contributing to the development of finance capability within the organisation
