You will analyse actual results against budget, prepare monthly packs, support budgeting/forecasting, and drive CAPEX governance across projects, ensuring accuracy and data integrity in management reports.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or business or professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, and ICAEW).
• 5-8 years' experience in financial planning, business controlling, or management reporting roles.

Aufgaben

• Support Group and hospital-level performance monitoring by analysing actual results against budget and forecast.
• Prepare monthly performance packs, variance analyses, and commentaries for hospitals and corporate functions.
• Partner hospital management teams to explain performance drivers, identify risks and opportunities, and support corrective actions.
• Track delivery of agreed performance initiatives and cost management actions.
• Support the annual budget, rolling forecast, and outlook processes under the direction of the Head of BPPM.
• Ensure timely collection, consolidation, and validation of hospital submissions and assumptions.
• Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess volume, case-mix, cost, and margin impacts.
• Assist in improving planning accuracy and consistency across hospitals.
• Support CAPEX governance processes by reviewing business cases, ensuring completeness, financial rigour, and alignment with Group guidelines.
• Track approved CAPEX spend against budget and highlight variances, delays, or risks.
• Maintain CAPEX trackers and support post-investment reviews by analysing actual returns versus approved business cases.
• Assist in preparing materials for CAPEX Committee discussions.
• Prepare detailed financial analyses on hospital performance, service lines, cost drivers, and productivity metrics.
• Support development and maintenance of performance dashboards, KPIs, and management reports
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial and operational data used in reporting.
• Support the use and maintenance of planning and reporting systems (e.g. TM1/Cognos), including cost centre and hierarchy updates.
• Assist in implementing process improvements, standard templates, and reporting automation initiatives.
• Adhere to data governance, data integrity, and system control requirements.
• Act as a key finance point-of-contact for assigned hospitals and corporate functions.
• Coordinate with hospital finance teams to ensure alignment with Group planning and reporting requirements.
• Support ad-hoc analysis and management requests from the Head of BPPM and CFO
